At times we will all experience difficult feelings, or face challenges which can leave us feeling confused, troubled, distressed, and isolated. These problems can also have an impact on other relationships in our lives. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor is vital to successful therapy, and I offer a warm, safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore problems and distress and where I can help you to facilitate the change you need

As a a fully qualified counsellor and member of the BACP, I work in an integrative way using a range of different modalities and therapies in order to find the right fit for you.

At the core of my work is person centred therapy which is client led and forms the foundation of my practice, but I also include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic where relevant.

I began my counselling journey in 2018 and qualified as a Counsellor in 2020, continuing with my education to achieve a BA (Hons) in Counselling in 2022. I trained with Rape Crisis and also the MelanomaMe Foundation working with those affected by skin cancers. I have also worked in private practice with clients who have issues including anxiety, depression, grief, bereavement, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, health anxiety, lack of motivation, self-esteem issues, and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. I complete additional training during covid to offer online and telephone counselling alongside face to face therapy.

I am a huge advocate of selfcare and mindfulness and believe that good mental health is vital to our overall wellbeing. I believe that you are the expert on you and it is my role to work alongside you and facilitate the right environment to help you find the answers you need,
