About me:

 

I am a accredited qualified therapist and clinical supervisor.

I work with a wide range of issues and believe strongly in the healing power which a safe space and a trusting therapeutic relationship can provide. Like many other counsellors, I came to counselling from personal experience and feel lucky to have experienced the positive power which counselling can provide firsthand.

Coming to counselling can feel overwhelming, I hope to provide a space where you feel comfortable to share with me your thoughts, feelings and experiences and together we will try and process and work through whatever it is you are facing.
I work with Children, Young People, Adults and Couples, working face to face and online.

I would describe myself as a warm, relatable and down to earth practitioner who will work alongside you.

 

Specialist Interest and/or Experience:

I qualified, and have been a practising therapist since 2017 and clinical supervisor since 2020 and BACP Accreditated.

My Supervisory experience has also provided me with the opportunity to deliver some training in the subject,  as part of my role I often support trainee and newly qualified counsellors – it is truly wonderful to be a part of this learning process for others.

 

Clinical Experience:

 

During my time working as a counsellor I have primarily worked in Primary and Secondary Schools but also have significant experience working with adults in Private Clinic. In addition to counselling I also offer clinical supervision both online and in person and support Next Step in some training roles and clinical assessments.

 

Clinical Approaches:

 

My main work is Person Centred however I am flexible in my working practice, working with you to adopt a more integrative approach at times where appropriate. I work at your pace and in a client – led approach.

What Are you Passionate About:

 

I am passionate about providing a safe space for my clients where they feel able to share their inner world – I hope to be able to offer support, challenge and perhaps some psycho-education which will help my clients become more self-aware and resilient. It is a privilege to share this inner world with my clients. I believe in the healing power of a relationship and that it is never too late to make change.
