We provide psychotherapy, counselling, training, school work and support services for adults, young people, couples as well as therapeutic parenting and family intervention. We are a busy service with clinics based in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Monkseaton in North Tyneside.
How it works
We offer employed either full time or part time. As well as self-employed affiliates and trainers. We also have opportunities for placements too, please see our dedicated page for more information. Psychotherapist/Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
Location: Monkseaton Clinic
Salary: Between FT £36,000 - £42,000 Pro Rota £12,342.86 - £14,400 (depending on experience, accreditation, type of education etc)
Role description: Psychotherapist or Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
Contract Hours: 2 days a week (A total of 12 clinical hours)
Wednesdays: 1pm – 8:30pm
Thursdays: 10:30am – 6:00pm (may need to change time if the demand or need changes)
Start Date: January 2026
Closing Date: 5th January 2026 (may close earlier if we get a suitable candidate)

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: You must be specifically qualified least level 6 or 7 in psychotherapy or psychotherapeutically trained. Training of any other kind will automatically be rejected including: person centred, integrative, psychology degrees and unfortunately qualifications in a different country (unless you've done a top up in relevant qualification in the UK as above).
